Personal Bio

Michael R. Barnard has been a writer and actor since high school in the Twin Cities. He helped put a new TV station on the air and served as its Operations Manager. Later, he helped Prince open his Paisley Park Studios and served as the in-house video producer, producing Prince’s ALPHABET STREET music video among other projects. Barnard was invited to Hollywood by the William Morris Agency after his spec script for the top ABC TV series MOONLIGHTING landed there. He has produced TV shows, music videos, and films.
