Originally from Chicago, Shari B. Ellis is a graduate of Yale University and a veteran of the animation and visual fx industries, having worked for such greats as Disney Animation Studios, Sony Imageworks, Marvel Television, Bento Box Entertainment and Tim Burton. Her credits include Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The Proud Family, Open Season, Green Lantern, I Am Legend, Beowulf, Agent Carter and Legends of Chamberlain Heights.
As a writer-producer, Shari has created humorous shorts such as Soligram 2500 and Sh*t Duran Duran Fans Say, and Appreciate, a music video featured on Sir Paul McCartney’s social media pages. Shari is currently the production manager at Genius Brands International for Netflix’s Llama Llama, based on the award-winning books, and Nick Jr.’s highly-anticipated Rainbow Rangers.
