Patricia Fox

Personal Bio

Patricia Fox obtained her BA in English from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and her MFA in Creative Writing from Augsburg University. She is an award-winning Screenwriter, Director, Playwright, and published Fiction and Non-Fiction writer. Her screenplays have been quarterfinalists, semifinalists, finalists and/or winners in contests such as Nicholl, Page Awards, Austin and Minnesota Screenwriters’ Workshop, among many others. Her two short films have screened throughout the world at festivals like Over the Rhine, Compassion, Silicon Beach, Golden State, Marina Del Rey and Golden Wheat and the Japan International.

Patricia is also an Adjunct Screenwriting Professor at a few local colleges and universities.

She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two beloved cats. Interests include; traveling, serving the homeless community, and seeing as much live music as possible, especially performers in The Grateful Dead family.
