Personal Bio

Iowa farmgirl turned filmmaker, my eclectic background as a Paralegal, Apartment Manager, Personnel Manager and fraud investigator have provided a treasure trove of life experiences which I am able to tap into for my current blogging, script writing, casting, voiceover and acting projects. 

My current project, “Can You Go Home Again” is a literal journey back to my small middle America hometown of Laurens, Iowa, to discover whether, after city life in California, I can find happiness returning to the rural small town life of my youth.   For more information check out my blog on my website at www.gwenconklin.com.
