Personal Bio

I am a passionate documentary filmmaker with a lot to learn from the world. I love to listen to people’s stories and find ways to empower them through film. My most recent ventures have explored often marginalized or untold stories, such as gender transitioning, mental illness, and disability. I love to do everything from pre-production to post-production, and I can’t decide whether I’m happier behind my Sony A7 iii or in the editing room with Adobe Premiere Pro. I never stop learning, and I am constantly growing from all the new perspectives I get to explore through my storytelling pursuits. My dream is to someday own my own documentary production company that specializes in telling meaningful, thoughtful stories of the human experience. There’s no telling what the future holds, but I will do everything in my power to make it a future worth living.
