THE DIRECTOR’S TOOLBOX

FOR DIRECTORS, PRODUCERS, ACTORS, CREW

& ANYONE INVOLVED IN THE STORYTELLING PROCESS!

SATURDAY, July 21st, 2018

9am – 12 noon

at

CBS Radford Studios

4024 Radford Avenue

Studio City, CA 91604

A director’s level of creative leadership is what can make or break a film.  It’s the job of a director to make sure all parts of a film project are creatively envisioned, communicated, produced, and brought together.  It’s a complex job, and it’s only those who are fully prepared and equipped — artistically, professionally, emotionally, and relationally — who stand out in this competitive field.

This workshop will equip you with what you need to hire or to be a director who is great on every level.  Whether you’re a director who is creating a film, a producer who is hiring a director for an upcoming project, or part of the cast & crew who need to know how to work effectively with a director, this workshop is for you.

Starting simply with the bare ideas of an entire film, a good director carries all the tools that are needed to draw the best out of the creative cast and crew to make that film a reality. This workshop will help you get there!

Who should attend:

Filmmakers, producers, writers, actors, crew, or ANYONE who works in film, television, or digital media who wants to understand how to make their project the best it can be!

By the end of this class you’ll know:

*  How to identify, communicate, and protect a film story while you work with and gain the trust of a project’s producers, writers, actors, and crew

*  The practical elements of directing a film from start to finish – and from pitch to post

*  All the tools you’ll need to provide the good creative leadership that will translate into an excellent film.

PLUS – this will be a great networking event to meet other industry professionals!
