We are CASTING PROGRAM HOSTS FOR QVC! Searching NATIONWIDE!
COMPETITIVE FULL-TIME PAY!
QVC is looking for a passionate storyteller with a love for shopping! You will present products, promote shows, create social content, and interact with your audience in a friendly, conversational, and articulate way. You will act as an ambassador of QVC Group on social platforms and at events, collaborating with various teams to develop content and strategy.
We are the world’s leading shopping network and a major player in multimedia retail, and are looking for a full-time Program Host to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a confident and vibrant Host who can weave compelling narratives around lifestyle products, enjoys improvisation and spontaneous interaction, and holds a natural curiosity to learn innovative ways to present products.
Job Location:
· This role is onsite and will require you to work primarily from our West Chester, PA headquarters, as well as on-location for remote shoots.
· Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.
· Relocation assistance is available for this role if you are not currently located in the West Chester area.
What You’ll Do – You will:
– Present products and create content for our broadcast, online, social media and other multichannel platforms, both live and pre-recorded
– Appear in targeted shows and events, and interact with customers on social platforms
– Build trust with customers authentically and with sincerity
– Develop and maintain a loyal following of audiences across multiple platforms
– Create content, through blogs, video, and photos for social platforms, communicating with customers to tease upcoming products and events
· Drive audience engagement and business results, while communicating effectively and persuasively, guiding audience opinions and actions while remaining transparent
· Learn extensive sales techniques, including how to create the need/desire for products
– Learn how to operate and demonstrate a wide variety of products
– Attend and participate actively in organized team meetings, classes, and seminars for continuing education
What You’ll Bring/Requirements:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– Demonstrated experience hosting on social media, digital or television platforms
– Previous television/radio broadcasting experience is helpful, as well as experience with social media, theater, sales, teaching, training, or any other experience that develops conversational speaking skills
This job classification falls under a unit of employees that is represented by SAG-AFTRA.
