ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

PAUL SINACORE, a member of SAG since 1996 and a master of the arts of commercial, television, film, voice-over, and music video casting has just launched his own brand and company, Paul Sinacore Casting.

In the commercial world, Sinacore played a crucial role in casting dozens of Super Bowl commercials, working with clients such as Apple, Nike, Facebook, Macy’s, McDonald’s, and Budweiser, among others.  For television series, Sinacore single-handedly cast the first season reboot of the classic series Unsolved Mysteries for Netflix.  On the music video side, Sinacore was instrumental in casting Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling!,” Beyoncé’s “Hold Up” (Lemonade), and Lil’ Nas X’s “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus in which he worked directly with acclaimed director Calmatic.

An expert on real people casting with a special gift for person-centered interviewing, Sinacore was lead talent researcher for documentary style film commercials including those by Academy Award winning directors, Errol Morris and Emmanuel “Chivo” Lubezki.

Gaining invaluable insight and extensive experience working as the direct point of contact with production companies such as Anonymous Content, Smuggler, MJZ, Biscuit Filmworks, and Iconoclast, Sinacore has the privilege of working closely with directors such as Spike Lee, Paul Hunter, Ian Pons Jewell, Lance Acord, Peter Lang, and Mark Romanek.

Paul Sinacore Casting is a unique brand, bringing an unparalleled personal touch, awareness, and sensitivity to casting while connecting directors to talent in a way not thought possible.  Sinacore has just completed casting for Season 3 of In Ice Cold Blood with Ice-T on Oxygen and is currently working on a Netflix series with multiple new upcoming projects.

With an academic research background focusing on social psychology and sociocultural anthropology, and bringing his talent for personal interconnection, interpersonal communication, and empathetic awareness, Sinacore is sensitive to the critical issues of diversity and inclusion in an ever changing society and commercial market.  As a 2014 Honors Graduate of UCLA, with a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology, Sinacore has been invited to UCLA to discuss the business of casting and the inner workings of the industry.
