COURSE DETAILS:
WORKSHOP #1:
DIVINE FEMININE: Writing for or from the Divine Feminine
Saturday, June 24th, 2017 (11am PACIFIC)
This workshop focuses on honoring, acknowledging and giving voice to the divine feminine. For women, this is an opportunity to explore what being a woman means to us individually, how it informs our journey, and what contextual issue we would most like to address through poetry. For men, it is an opportunity to honor women with sensitivity, humility and respect through creative expression. Writing prompts and exercises will encourage varying angles, perspectives and reflections through an empowering lens.
WORKSHOP #2:
ANCESTRAL HEALING: Honoring lineage and heritage, genetic memory, and inherited communal consciousness (traits, trauma and sensitivities):
Saturday, July 1st, 2017 (11am PACIFIC)
This workshop explores who we come from and how that informs our journey. It is an opportunity to reflect on who is walking with us and what we have inherited äóî both the gifts and the burdens. Through poetry, we can honor, acknowledge and give voice to our ancestors, connect with hidden parts of ourselves, and heal what may no longer serve us.
WORKSHOP #3:
LOOK THE DEMON IN THE EYE AND SUCKER PUNCH THAT MF WITH A POEM: Dissipating Fear through Poetry:
Saturday, July 8th, 2017 (11am PACIFIC)
If you are ready to step into your power and speak directly to whatever scares you most, this is your opportunity. Poetry is a profoundly effective tool for empowerment, strength, and speaking your truth with conviction. In this workshop, you will be challenged and encouraged to face the issues, memories, or fears that have had their claws in you long enough. You will be amazed at how liberating it is to write about whatever you have been too uncomfortable or scared to say aloud.
