About the Festival:
Located in the vibrant Itaewon Discrict in Seoul, South Korea, the ITAEWON MUSIC SPIRIT FESTIVAL is a heartfelt event dedicated to commemorating the young lives tragically lost in the Halloween crowd crush. This festival aims to express and share our collective sadness while providing healing and solace to the youth and their families. Through the power of love and music, we strive to foster harmony, goodwill, and a sense of community, contributing to world peace.
About the Itaewon district:
Itaewon is renowned for its vibrant nightlife and welcoming atmosphere for foreigners. The district is lined with international restaurants, clubs, bars, and lounges, making it one of the most culturally diverse and affluent neighborhoods in South Korea.
Program Themes – Our program is thoughtfully organized around four key themes:
Tribute to Young Lives
We come together to honor and remember those we have lost, creating a space for collective mourning and reflection. This tribute extends beyond Itaewon, encompassing all places worldwide where similar tragedies have occurred.
Heal the World
We offer emotional and psychological support through therapeutic music and art, helping to heal the hearts of those affected globally.
Love and Goodwill for All
We promote love, compassion, and unity among all attendees, emphasizing the importance of mutual support and care.
Find the Vision
From crisis, we inspire hope and forward movement, encouraging everyone to work together towards a brighter, healthier future. We aim to discover a collective vision for tomorrow.
Ultimate Goal:
The ultimate goal of the ITAEWON MUSIC SPIRIT festival is to find a vision for world peace, creating a future marked by honor, healing, harmony, goodwill, and mutual support.
