Here’s a great opportunity for women and men who are open to SHARING THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH REPRODUCTIVE CHOICE to share their story in a feature film with directors whose films and works have been shown in the Guggenheim and MOCA as well as other museums world wide. They are known for thought-provoking perspectives that are visceral and deeply moving.
You will NOT need to appear in the film, as actors will be portraying the parts (but we will consider you if you do wish to be on-camera!)

PEOPLE OPEN TO SHARING THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH REPRODUCTIVE CHOICE
STORIES WANTED FOR FEATURE FILM
We are searching NATIONWIDE for men and women who are open to SHARING THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH REPRODUCTIVE CHOICE to share their story in a feature film with directors whose films and works have been shown in the Guggenheim and MOCA as well as other museums world wide. They are known for thought-provoking perspectives that are visceral and deeply moving.
You will NOT need to appear in the film, as actors will be portraying the parts (but we will consider you if you do wish to be on-camera!)
This film is based on true stories, and is looking for both women and men who are open to sharing their experience with reproductive choice.
We are staying away from the political side of this subject and are looking into deeply personal stories of individuals. This is a beautiful opportunity to open up about your personal experiences and choices.
We are looking for two types of stories:
• People who have overcome struggles to get an abortion.
• People who have had a change of heart due to reproductive choice.
(see examples below)
Examples of stories of people who have overcome a struggle for reproductive choice:
– Conflict with the local community or the law
– Struggling with addiction and pregnancy
– Conflict with your own personal religious views or the religious views of your community / loved ones
– Conflict with immigration status and trying to get an abortion
– Committing a crime while struggling with reproductive choice (could be as small as stealing a pregnancy test to breaking the law to afford an abortion to having an illegal abortion)
– Having to keep an abortion a secret from family and friends
– Having to travel great distances (or even cross borders) to obtain an abortion
Examples of stories of people who have had a change of heart due to reproductive choice:
– Pro-Choice perspectives who have decided not to have an abortion.
– Pro-Life perspectives who decided to have an abortion.
