ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Kelly Nash
currently serves as the Director of Non-Fiction at
AMC and SundanceTV. She
oversees the current series on AMC, Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of
Comics and the upcoming series, James Cameron’s Story of
Science Fiction, Eli Roth’s History of Horror, and
a limited documentary series event, Rhinestone Evangelist
(w/t) for SundanceTV. She formerly served as FishBowl
Worldwide Media‘s Vice President of Development. She has
developed shows at FishBowl ranging from OffBeat on Fuse,
Upload with Shaquille O’Neal on TruTV, I’m Married
To A… on VH1 to Toned Up on Bravo and
Insane Pools: Off the Deep End for Animal Planet.
She created the hit Yahoo web-series Ultimate
Proposal.
Nash began her career in
entertainment at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles.
She then went to work on the feature comedy A Lot Like
Love, starring Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet, working under the Line
Producer. She transitioned to television and has worked at the
Oxygen Network, New Line Television, and
with executive producer, Marty Adelstein. She is
currently an executive member of Women In Film, along with being a member of
the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
