INSPIRATIONAL DRAMA SCRIPTS WANTED ABOUT MOTHER/DAUGHTER ABUSE
STORIES WHICH INSPIRE AUDIENCES TO RECOGNIZE AND BREAK THE CYCLE
—————————————————–
Seeking Inspirational Dramas about Unspoken Violence between Mothers and Daughters
—————————————————–
We are looking for completed, feature-length, grounded, character-driven, inspirational drama scripts which focus on the unspoken cycle of violence (physical, mental, and/or emotional) between mothers and daughters, i.e. scripts in the vein of “Precious” by Lee Daniels or “This Boy’s Life” (if the protagonist was female).
We need material that will inspire audiences to recognize and break this cycle. When pitching, please briefly describe your own background and experience with this topic in the personal message space.
Budget is yet to be determined. WGA and non-WGA writers may submit.
