Staff Writer Lorna Clarke Osunsanmi, aka Lorna O., is currently a Story Editor on a Greg Berlanti/CW produced television series titled, “All American,” which currently airs on The CW on Wednesdays at 9/8c.  Previously, she was a Staff Writer on “The Path” for Hulu.  She is an active developer, working with Kevin Hart through his digital platform LOL and has worked with John Ridley, Wendy Calhoun, and Stearns Castle on a project for FX.

Lorna graduated Magna Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & Communications with a Pre-law minor from Texas Woman’s University.  After teaching middle school for a of couple years and realizing her calling was not instructing hormonally charged pre-pubescent teens, plus a myriad of other reasons, Lorna had a revelation.  After years of independent filmmaking in Dallas, she knew it was time to pursue her dreams in California.  She loaded up her car and moved to Glendale, California.

Her first foray in entertainment was on “The Bernie Mac Show” as a high-powered post-production assistant.  No one could deliver VHS tapes faster!  She went on to assistant and was mentored/trained under writers, executives, directors, and producers such as Nicholas Stoller on the film Get Him to the Greek, Charles “Chic” Eglee (Dexter, The Shield, Thief of Thieves), Gary Lennon (The Shield), Robert and Michelle King (Judy’s Got a Gun – pilot), Rob Bowman & Jeffrey Bell (Day Break).

Outside of film and television Lorna is a motivational speaker and author.  She toured the U.S. promoting her book Becoming Bold,”  and was privileged to speak to women at the Los Angeles County Reintegration Center.  Lorna currently resides in Los Angeles with her two children and producer/director husband.
