The Filmmatic /Sci-Fi / Fantasy Awards were created to locate and expose up-and-coming science fiction and fantasy screenwriters, as well as to empower and educate those talented writers still waiting for their invitation to the mainstream industry.
The 2024 Filmmatic Sci-Fi / Fantasy Screenplay Competition is open to screenplays in the following formats:
• Feature-length screenplays
• Short screenplays (45 pages or less)
• Teleplays & TV Pilots
• Web Series
• Treatments
• Series Bibles & Pitches
• In-Production Films
• Open to ALL PROJECTS with a significant sci-fi or fantasy element
If you have an edgy science-fiction drama, an epic fantasy adventure, or anything in-between, we want to see your script for your feature, TV pilot, or short!
