CASTING ROLES ACTORS, FAMILIES, AND SPECIALTY ACTS
CASTING SHORT FILM (PAID)
We are now casting NATIONWIDE for all types of ACTORS , FAMILIES, AND SPECIALTY ACTS for a PAID short film shoot.
Open to everyone – both SAG and non-SAG talent (under the SAG experimental contract).
Safety Protocols: In the midst of the pandemic, we will be shooting using iPhones and Zoom to record scenes remotely. Most shooting will be done safely by you at your home; however, a few select scenes may be shot out of your home, following SAG safety protocols.
NOW CASTING THE FOLLOWING ROLES:
MONA (Lead)
Female / early 20s. Mona is a cute, perky engineering grad student – think Scarlett Johansen, Blake Lively.
Day Players:
Grandmother and Grandfather with great comic timing
Submissions by actual couples preferred, but we are also accepting submissions from individuals.
Family with Father, Mother, and Young Son (ages 5-8)
Submissions by actual families preferred, but we are also accepting submissions from individuals.
Family with Father, Mother, and Teenage Daughter
Submissions by actual families preferred, but we are also accepting submissions from individuals.
Young Married Couple
Submissions by actual couples preferred, but we are also accepting submissions from individuals.
Parents with children who have a swimming pool (Open to age ranges)
Submissions by actual families preferred, but we are also accepting submissions from individuals.
Young Boy who can play soccer (ages 8-11)
Young Girl Singer / Dancer (ages 8-10)
SPECIALTY ACTS:
Juggler – who can use common household items
Fire Dancer
Unicycle Rider
Project: currently a comedy short film about the pandemic; however, we may expand it to a full length feature as well. The writer/director Ted Fukuda is well known in Japan, and has worked on several US features as well.
Status: Open to both SAG and non-SAG talent (SAG Experimental contract)
PAY: LEAD rate is $285/day for 3 days; Day Player rate is $125/day; Specialty Acts rate is $300.
