CASTING LEAD ROLES

SAG SHORT FILM

We are now CASTING LEAD ROLES for SAG actors to star in a compelling dramatic short film, shooting in Stockton, CA in September 2024.

THREE LEAD ROLES:

CARY & RICK (two males, any ethnicity, (age 35-50)

SHANNON:  (female, any ethnicity, age 25-30)

ADDITIONAL FEATURED ROLES:

Two males any ethnicity (age 12-16): the younger versions of the leads as shown in flashback.  Minors must have valid entertainment work permit.

Two adults as parents (Mom & Dad) in flashback (ages 40-55).

Logline:
Cary tells his dying friend Rick a harebrained plan to fake his own death and abandon everything he knows for the chance to do things right.

PAY: $280 per day for the 3 LEAD roles  / All other roles: $162/ Day (guaranteed rates)
Travel:  Production covers travel/accommodation for CARY/RICK/SHANNON from Los Angeles (base).
All others roles:  gas reimbursement only (from Los Angeles).
Shoot location:  Stockton, CA. The producers would prefer to find actors who are local hires to that area.  However, the production will cover the cost of transportation and accommodations for talent from Los Angeles.
