CASTING NEW SHOW FOR NBC!
We are searching NATIONWIDE for AMAZING, UNEXPECTED, OR UNIQUE TRUE STORIES from all types of people for a new show from NBC, hosted by Ed Helms (The Office, The Hangover) and Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat, Always Be My Maybe).
True Story is is looking for the greatest, funniest, most engaging, and unexpected true stories in America – and the storytellers who experienced them.
We’ll invite you to share your true story with our celebrity hosts – and then we’ll bring your story to life!
Have you ever wondered who would play you in a movie? This is your time to find out!
From tales about disastrous holidays, cases of mistaken identity, disasters on the job, to lies gone too far, and crazy feats done for love or anything in between… if you’ve got that hilarious, jaw-dropping, borderline unbelievable true story that’s become legendary in your circle, we want to hear it!
It can be your own story – or nominate a friend/family member and give them a chance to bring some much-needed laughter to the world!

Compensation: Stipend and travel accommodations to Los Angeles, CA
NOTE: Given the current situation regarding Covid-19, please note that while we are casting now (via online), all in-person filming will be done at such time it is deemed safe, and in accordance with general standards set by the CDC at the time of filming (and possibly remote self-filming by talent at talent’s home).
