ACTORS: 1817 FILM STUDIOS presents 3 FREE WORKSHOPS! with
DIRECTOR
STEVE HANNEMAN
1817 Film Studios is an active production studio focusing on story driven, original content with high production value, now in production on our third feature film.
Director Steve Hanneman nurtures a creative environment with a talented collaborative team where relationships come first. His philosophy as a director is not a one-size-fits-all approach. “Each actor brings with them their own set of given circumstances, belief systems, cultural biases, strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, you must embrace what is uniquely you in order to find yourself in any character or role. Only then can you begin to serve the script and tell the story… anything less is just ‘acting’.”
WHAT TO EXPECT:
* Learn how to best prepare for auditions.
* The common misconceptions of the dos and don’ts for auditioning.
* Each actor will be given an opportunity to showcase their talent in a cold read.
* You will be given personal feedback and identify any strengths and weaknesses in your performance.
* There will be a short Q&A afterwards, which will be a great opportunity to ask any questions you have relating to the film industry or audition process.

Tuesday, Mar 28th 7pm – 9:30pm (INTERMEDIATE)
Thursday, Mar 30th 7pm- 9:30pm (ADVANCED)
