Personal Bio

Honey Lauren is a multi-award winning writer, director and actress. She has over 100 credits, including working with Francis Ford Coppola and Luc Besson. Her scripts have placed in many competitions, including Austin, Slamdance and the Shore Script Competition. Her short, DOT GOT SHOT, won seven awards including Best Female Filmmaker of the year at Action On International Film Festival, where she also won “The Woman With a Vision Award”. Her short HAPPY HANDS won awards at six film festivals and qualified for an Academy Award in 2014. WIVES OF THE SKIES (2020), won over 50 awards. Honey wrote and directed her debut feature, MISTAKE, produced by Brad Wyman (MONSTER 2003), which recently started the festival circuit, garnering major press by winning ten awards in eight festivals so far.  MISTAKE is soon to be distributed both online and theatrically. Honey is set to direct her feature Rifle Doll in 2027.
