Jennifer Boulware

Personal Bio

Jennifer is a native of Aiken, SC; and spent the majority of her 5712213 childhood and young adulthood in the arts community of Aiken and Augusta. She enjoyed being a professional ballet dancer, but her greatest joy came from teaching dance in  a wide variety of settings: The Aiken County Gateway program for 10 years, The Jessye Norman School of the Arts for 5 years, The Boys and Girls Clubs all over the CSRA, and Grace Through Faith Dance Ministry at Heights Church. She graduated from Augusta University in 2008 with her ADN, and is currently working towards her BSN, with hopes to further her education to MSN.

Jennifer also has a love for visual arts and creative writing. This is where her 17 year nursing career and artistic roots bridged the gap to her unique value as a Clinical Strategist ,allowing clinical humility and expertise to pivot her love for the arts so that she can translate the complex ‘business of medicine’ into a human language that empowers both the veteran nurse and the next generation of graduates.

Jennifer’s unique 30 year background as a dancer, professional ballerina and dance educator allows her to view clinical care through the lens of rhythm and precision. She understands that a unit’s success depends on the ‘choreography’ of the team and the ability of each member to execute a Pivot Turn when the clinical rhythm is lost.
