I’m Randolph Crossley, CEO of Downtown Applications and a senior app developer with hands on experience building software that solves real business problems. Over the years I’ve worn both hats, leading the company from a strategic level while staying close to the code, because I believe the best products come from people who understand both the business and the build.
My focus has always been on bespoke mobile app development, creating solutions tailored to how a business actually operates rather than forcing teams into rigid, one size fits all software. I work across the full stack, from early concept and architecture through to deployment and long term support, and I genuinely enjoy the problem solving that comes with each new project.
What drives me is seeing technology actually make someone’s workday easier. Whether I’m leading a development team, advising a client on the right approach, or getting into the weeds on a tricky technical challenge myself, my goal is the same: build something that works, lasts, and fits the people using it.
