Gesh Salvador is a prolific Nigerian Filmmaker and Creative deftly skilled in creating genre-bending African stories with cross-cultural, global resonance.

With almost two decades of experience in Television and Film, he is the Co-Founder of GUGURU STUDIOS, the production company that collaborated in the making of the globally critically acclaimed Fantasy Thriller, MAMI WATA – winner of the Cinematography Award at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, and also nominated for Best International Film at the 2024 Film Independent Spirit Awards and at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards..

Gesh Salvador is the Filmmaker representing Nigeria in a grant of €80,000 by the European Union for the development of a Pan-African movie between Nigeria, Ghana and Togo, scheduled to be released in 2026.

Gesh Salvador was selected by Amazon Prime Video as one of the Breakout Storytellers in Nigeria, in 2021.

Gesh Salvador is the Writer, Producer and Director of the commercially successful Comedy Drama, TANWA SAVAGE, which was the 2nd Highest Grossing film in its debut week and also in its debut month in the Nigerian cinemas; and subsequently, it premiered on NETFLIX and was on its Top 10 Movies Table for four consecutive weeks.
