Stephen Tako – Author, Film Producer & Anti-Bullying Advocate

Stephen Tako is the creator of the award-winning Junga the Dancing Yeti franchise, a series of children’s books and short films that promote kindness, confidence, and anti-bullying awareness. As an author, filmmaker, and speaker, Stephen blends creativity with a mission-driven purpose, using storytelling and character-focused entertainment to inspire young audiences. Through his nonprofit, Motivated To Act, he partners with schools and community organizations to deliver impactful social-emotional learning programs and appearances that make a lasting difference in children’s lives.

Stephen is experienced in hosting live events, participating in media interviews, and bringing uplifting, family-friendly programming to stages, red carpets, and community celebrations. While he appears as himself, he also provides the option of having the Junga the Dancing Yeti character appear at events—performed by a dedicated professional—to offer a memorable, high-energy experience for audiences of all ages.

With a background in performance, production, and advocacy, Stephen is open to collaborations in film, television, digital media, and live events.
