My name is Carolyn Schaumburg and I’m a passionate behind the scenes photographer, screenwriter, and director. 



I’m a Drama graduate from the University of Virginia. I enjoy writing plays and screenplays that are dark comedies and psychological thrillers (although some of my friends would just call them disturbing). I’ve won the Virginia Screenwriting Competition and Oniros Film Awards – New York with my feature screenplay Mine. I’ve written and produced five of my own short films. 

 

Currently, I’m working on my proof of concept Claus For Trouble shooting in May. 

 

I’m a huge fan of Dimension 20 by CollegeHumor and Aubrey Plaza. I’m also a wonderful behind-the-scenes photographer, and you can see my portfolio on this website. It is in your best interest to hire me or let me into grad school for film or directing or both.
