Personal Bio
Jessica Dardarian was born on March 6th, 1995 in Folsom, CA, a suburb twenty minutes from Sacramento, the younger of two daughters to an entrepreneur and homemaker.
She is of Armenian descent from her father’s side and Italian and German from her mother’s side.
She was diagnosed with autism at about three years old, but was very different compared to some other classmates with special needs.
Since third grade, she started attending a small private school for children with special needs and starting learning American Sign Language at ten years old. When learning the language, she fell in love with it and dreamed of becoming a sign language interpreter at a young age, which she is currently going to school for at American River College.
At a young age, she enjoyed watching movies, especially those by MGM, Disney, and the Disney Renaissance. She was fascinated by the magic of movies and always wanted to become an actress. The performances of Julie Andrews in “Mary Poppins” and Barbra Streisand in “Funny Girl” inspired her to pursue acting.
Starting as a teenager, she started doing community theatre around the Sacramento Area, doing productions, such as “Aladdin” where she played Jafar, “Alice in Wonderland” as the Queen of Hearts, “The Jungle Book” as Shere Khan, “Annie” as Miss Hannigan, to name a few. She also attended the pretigious Stagedoor Manor at one point.
In 2015, after taking some classes at junior colleges, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting and also attended Pierce College down there, as well to continue her education as a sign language interpreter. She also auditioned for many projects and even did some short student film while living down there and worked as an extra on many big named projects.
In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, she moved back home to Folsom to finish her education at American River College as a returning student.
It was when she moved back to her hometown that she started doing more acting work in films, such as “Lady Hyde,” the upcoming “Emmanuelle in Sin City,” to name a few.
She lives in Folsom with her parents, sister, and guinea pig named Woody.
She is a vegan and is a staunch animal rights and veganism activist; she also is a feminist.
Dardarian is openly pansexual/queer/genderfluid/non-binary and uses she/they pronons.
She also loves dressing up and does cosplaying in her own time; she also enjoys horseback riding, reading, swimming, bowling, and yoga.
