Personal Bio

Suzy Miller completed a Screenwriting MA at Falmouth University 2022 and has a comedy pilot being optioned by a UK production company, and a place on the June 2023 Stowe Narrative Lab.  

In her late 50s, finally having the headspace to shift from single mother to writer to follow her calling, Suzy has a background pre-children in script editing/drama development having worked for Film Four and BBC Films.  

Suzy took her first short script in 2021 inspired by her mum’s early stage dementia and produced a short film that has been accepted into numerous festivals and placed in many. She calls it the ‘antidote to The Father’ because like most of her work, she makes people laugh whilst exploring challenging subjects.
