Personal Bio

Throughout his life William Gazecki has consistently found himself present in the midst of great change. “I always seem to be there just as things are at their peak, and about to transition into the next phase”, Gazecki says. He goes on, “from producing music in the 70s (The Doors) to pioneering theatrically exhibited investigative cover-up documentaries in the 90s (WACO: The Rules of Engagement), I’ve witnessed and participated in a number of cultural death-rebirth cycles. I’ve seen great things replaced by ideas and technologies nobody’d ever thought of.”

William has lived a life filled with impressive synchronicities. “Sometimes it’s felt a little like Forest Gump” he explains, “I’ve just had a knack for being at certain places and in certain times that have connected me, at some sort of foundational core level, to many important and developing situations; situations that over time have shown to have tangible impact on the world”.  In 2005 he met Jacque Fresco, producing the first major documentary on this now-world-recognized futurist and designer (Future by Design). “In 2005, talk of the future was practically non-existent”, Gazecki continues, ”there wasn’t much vision around planning and preparing for the future, especially in terms of innovation using advanced technologies to create entirely new economic, social and governmental paradigms”.

By contrast today, talk of the future is dramatically on the rise, especially towards the development and implementation of new systems and technologies. This shift represents the end of a major era of top-down authoritarian dominance to a new era of participative democracy and social equality. Since the Fresco project, all of William’s work has been focused on telling the stories of the future; looking at ideas, people and systems of far-reaching innovation, wisdom and vision. “It’s all about building a new world now. The world as we know it may not have actually fallen apart (yet), but the signs are vivid that it’s time for a serious form of sincere and immediate human evolution.
