Personal Bio
Valerie Saunders is a versatile performer – actress, comedienne, vocal impressionist, singer, and dancer. She has performed across the US.
As a screenwriter, she pulls from her years of experience as an entertainer, as well as working behind the scenes, and incorporates all of that into her scripts, having been both on and off the stage continually.
Valerie created shows for different theme parks performed in Arizona at both Rawhides and Old Tucson.
She founded the Honeybuns, a female vocal trio, and performed with a keyboardist in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. She was inspired by the Andrews Sisters, who had hits from the 1930-50s, one of their biggest being 1941s “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.”
Sometime later, they inspired Valerie once again, this time to write the screenplay, The Andrews Sisters. Given its length, it could be a two-parter, trilogy, or miniseries.
