Personal Bio

Terri Farley-Teruel is an award-winning director/writer/producer. Her feature directorial debut, Beautiful Dreamer, a World War II love story, garnered 13 Best Picture awards in festivals around the world and has been compared to Casablanca, From Here to Eternity by Direct TV. Terri also won a Best Director award in Italy. She has written and co-written several feature film scripts including Dino and Me, which is currently in development with producer James D. Brubaker, the producer of Chef and Bruce Almighty.

            Terri is the director of the new short film Stardust & Moonbeams, set at the end of the Jazz Age, which supports a woman’s right to express herself creatively and nods to the controversial subject of birth control. She is the creator/writer/director of the web series “City of Crows,” a story about a 17-year-old Latina living on Los Angeles, gifted with psychic vision who is assisted by a group of psychics to help those in the world around her.

            Terri has worked in physical production at Universal Studios on such films as Spiderman II, Jurassic Park III, Amistad, The Lost World, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Liar Liar, and many others. She has been in production on her own films and at Universal for as many as 200 days a year for over 20 years facilitating rigorous effects shoots and enabling the movement of large filming crews through demanding physical challenges. She is currently the production representative for the network television program “Extra” that films at Universal and is the internal producer for the Universal Studios Hollywood Marketing Department.
