Personal Bio
I am retired after a 42-year career in local television production. Beginning as a camera operator in 1973 at WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina, I quickly became a producer-director, directing live newscasts, writing, producing, and directing commercials, and producing and directing music specials and series. In 1981, I started work at WDSU-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana. While there, I received five local Addy Awards (Ad Club of New Orleans) and two national Telly Awards for writing, producing, and directing commercials. Along the way, I freelanced for NBC, ABC, CBS, Cinemax, The Food Network, PBS, Dick Clark Productions, and The History Channel, where I directed a live two-hour special for the network. I am currently writing film scripts, programming three music channels on YouTube, and overseeing my investment property in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
