Sonja Ann Jones

Personal Bio

Dr. Sonja Ann Jones has been actively working in films, television, webisodes and national commercials as an actress and producer. She has had a recurring role as a nurse on “General Hospital”, recently booked a pilot – “Transhuman”, and has appeared on many other television shows and films. On March 7, 2009, Dr. Fisher was crowned Mrs. Corporate America. Details can be found at www.mrscorporateamerica.com. She has competed in and judged many other pageants as well. She has appeared on talk and radio shows across the country. She was the headline interview in “Exceptional People Magazine” and has been featured in many other magazines and national publications such as “Redbook”, “New York Times”, “Yahoo”, “Pageantry”, “AAA Magazine”, “Women’s Day” and the “Huntington Post” to name a few.

Dr. Jones recently completed her doctorate at Argosy University in Business focused on entrepreneurship in 2013 and her dissertation was published with her ground breaking studies around Women in Information Technology Leadership. She also has been published in four different books which include “How to Break a Glass Ceiling without a Hammer”, “How to Survive When Your Ship is Sinking”, “Successful Women in Business” and “Corporate Queens, What Business School Won’t Teach You”. She is the co-founder of the first technical sorority in America, “Alpha Sigma Kappa – Women in Technical Studies” which has touched over 1,000 women’s’ lives. In addition, she also earned an MBA in entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas in 2001.   She currently works at Bay Dynamics as Sales Engineer, a professor at California Mirmar University and also has been actively producing film projects. 

Recently, Dr. Jones founded a new company called “Nonstop 4 the Top” and she holds the position of CEO. Her company is dedicated to helping women succeed in entertainment, business and technology through public speaking gigs, consulting and coaching. Dr. Jones was also recently offered her show and podcast. 

In her spare time, Dr. Jones is a competitive tennis player and is a marathon runner. Her goal is to complete a 26.2 mile marathon in every state and has done 11. She ran through her deal on Let’s Make a Deal with Wayne Brady!  She also loves to work on her roses in her garden and enjoy time with her boyfriend, family and friends.

Sonja’s goal is to make a true difference in the world and have a positive impact on others. Sonja firmly believes if you work hard that dreams can come true.
