Personal Bio

Shelley Jesso is an assistant director, screenwriter, voiceover actress, massage therapist, certified nutritionist and health coach. Her passion for entertainment began at age twelve when she performed in the White River Valley Players in Vermont. During her time with the theater group she starred in numerous productions with a focus on contemporary theater and Shakespeare. After high school she went on to receive a bachelor’s degree for Goddard College where she studied playwriting, acting and sculpture. Shelley Jesso then began her professional career working in the field of mental health where she led drama therapy groups in a psychiatric facility. While working at the psychiatric facility she attended the Holistic Life Institute of Learning. At the Holistic Life Institute Shelley was awarded several certifications in both holistic health and massage. Shelley then relocated to San Diego in 2012. Shelley Jesso hosted a radio show called “Holistic Vibrations” which was the first holistic health radio show to be broadcasted on air. After her time in radio she became more involved in film and was the screenwriter and assistant director for “The D Note” which was featured in the 2020 San Diego International Film Festival. Shelley Jesso is a screenwriter and assistant director of the “In the Arms of Fire” an indie occult thriller. She is a registered tribal member of the Benoit First Nation of Canada
