Personal Bio

I’m an Iowa girl who was lucky enough to travel the world for work prior to settling in Los Angeles. I grew up in a small town on an acreage with dogs, horses, cats, rabbits – the whole nine yards – and developed a love for music. I got more involved with singing in high school and then earned my Bachelor’s in both music and theatre. I ended up booking my first professional gig with Holland America Line as a Lead Singer. After that I went on to work as a singer/dancer at Universal Studios Singapore in the mainstage show “Monster Rock!,” and then to Carnival Cruise Lines as a lead singer/dancer. I now work in Los Angeles as a singer for both live bands and sessions, am a member of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Master Chorale, and am a professional voice over artist.

In addition to my life as a musician, I have also been active in fitness. I’m a former physique competitor and competed in both the US & Asia. Although I no longer compete, I still train and weightlift regularly, and am a fitness extra for Victorious, a cutting edge platform that live streams workouts with various trainers every week. I have also begun training for WOW, Women of Wrestling, and am looking forward to continuing my experience in the ring.

I also moonlight as an administrative assistant, and am currently working on my own project The Singer Sidekick, which aims to assist singers with tasks such as creating audio and video files for auditions, cleaning up sheet music, and providing admin assistance for bands. When I’m not working, I enjoy staying active, playing piano, meeting up with friends I haven’t seen in far too long, practicing my yodeling (yes for real), listening to NPR, exploring different coffee shops in LA, and always practicing gratitude.
