Michael Onofri

Personal Bio

Michael served as a Creative Executive at LD Entertainment for over seven years, working on the Academy Award-winning films, JUDY and JACKIE, before parlaying the experience he gained in developing features into screenwriting. His first script, CHRISTMAS ACADEMY, reaching the Semi-Finals of the 2016 Fresh Voices and Stage 32 Screenplay competitions and his second THE ARRANGEMENT placed in the finals of the 2018 AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL. His latest script, ADVENT, follows a 16-year-old girl who opens an ancient advent calendar and starts a countdown to Christmas, which accidentally releases a series of holiday horrors that threaten to destroy her small town and the people she loves. He also freelances as a screenplay coach/consultant for Roadmap Writers. He holds a B.A. in Theatre from DeSales University and is a graduate of the UCLA Professional Screenwriting Program.
