Personal Bio

Michael Dugan is an award winning director and writer of feature films, Movies of the Week, Soap Operas, and syndicated television programs. His programs have won 5 Emmy awards, and his feature film, “Raging Hormones” won “Best Director” and “Best Comedy” at the New York Independent Film Festival. It is a favorite on HBO and CineMax, and in international distribution.

Michael has earned writing credits on:  “Days of Our Lives”, “Loving”, “Santa Barbara”, and “General Hospital”.  As a screenwriter, he sold over fifteen feature films and Movie-of-the-Week scripts to Tri-Star Pictures, Columbia Pictures, SONY, NBC, and several independent production companies.  Michael also wrote and directed the Disney television series: “Mousercise”.

Michael credits also include over 400 half hour programs for the series “Today’s Environment”, “Healthy Solutions”, “.COM”, “Technology Today”, and “Today’s Health”.  Six of these programs were nominated for Emmy Awards, and five won. Michael has also directed over 100 of these programs, and earned credits on “The Golden Globe Awards”, “The Country Music Awards”, “Bloopers and Practical Jokes”, and several network specials for ABC, NBC, and CBS.
