Personal Bio

Born in Willemstad, Curaçaon actress Lugini Marie started to perform at the tender age of 7. She was inspired by her aunt Marjorie Petrona, a seasoned actress who appeared in several movies praised for her role as “Yuya Bokadushi” in Ava & Gabriel. She got her first acting experience when she was casted by theater director David Lozano as lead role in  “Kapuchita”. She remained on the island till high school and moved to the United States to pursue her studies in Boston.While in college, she played her first English speaking role in a theatre production named aka Marleen, directed by Danny Dugan. Once in Atlanta she concentrated on earning her Bachelor’s degree in International Business but never lost interest in performing. She appeared in numerous fashion shows, local magazines and had small roles in Stomp the Yard, Yo Momma & ATL. In Miami, she took some she dived into perfecting her craft under the supervision of director Ralph Kinnard. Now in the city of Los Angeles she is seeking new and meaningful opportunities working beside and with the greats in the business.
