Having called Lincoln, Nebraska, her original home, Lisa’s childhood unfolded across the

American landscape. Her creative spirit ignites when crafting wonderfully odd and original

characters, with a particular passion for celebrating women, the LGBTQ+ community, and

diverse voices. Her academic journey took her to London, England, and Los Angeles,

culminating in a BA in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Lisa’s debut into the world of

children’s literature arrived in July 2024 with the Pegasus Publishers (Cambridge, England)

release of her book, “My Monster Dyslexia and the Black Rock Crone of Dingle.” Beyond

children’s books, Lisa explores genres from dark comedy and rom-com to horror, thriller, and

sci-fi.
