Lana Lekarinou

Personal Bio

A self-taught filmmaker, Lana was born in Athens, Greece, and grew up around various parts of the United States, including Texas and Florida. She studied Interior Design and later Theatre while living in New York City.  Her film, “The Sparkle,” a short she wrote, directed and produced is receiving numerous nominations and accolades from critics and juries, including an award for Best Director.  Presently she is working on a new short and is in production for a comedic sitcom pilot that she created in collaboration with Antonia Roman of That’s So Funny Entertainment.
