Personal Bio
With seven years of directing experience, Kendall Outing is an award-winning writer-director raised in the small rural town of Harford County, Maryland, who graduated with a Bachelor’s from the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts. His short film Jubillee has premiered at the ATl-Black Film Fest and Reel Black Men Short Film Showcase. His documentary Freetown won best U.S. Documentary at the International Black & Diversity Festival in Toronto Canada. Raised with Southern Baptist roots, he is driven to write and direct psychological dramas with supernatural twists and themes that subvert audiences’ expectations. Creating morally ambiguous characters has always fascinated Kendall as he doesn’t see his world as black or white.
