Personal Bio

Justin Cabanting is a Asian-American/Pacific Islander (Filipino/Hawaiian) professional acting, modeling, stunt, and voice talent and sound engineer with over 8 years of experience. Justin became a member of SAG-AFTRA in 2021 and has been featured across various films, commercials, stock photo shoots, and radio & interactive voice overs for audio books, e-learning, video games, and ADR. Since then, he has been actively improving his acting skills through workshops offered through CODA (Coalition of Dubbing Actors), SuchAVoice, Voice123, SAG-AFTRA, Columbia College Hollywood, AFI Conservatory, and client voice bookings through Actors Access, Casting Networks (LA Casting), IMDBPro, and Casting Networks (LA Casting)/Actor’s Access in Los Angeles, California. He is equipped for remote recording with his own personal Whisper Room Model 4872E Isolation Sound Booth, using a Neumann TLM 103 Cardioid Condenser Microphone through an Audient ID-14 MK II Interface with RX8 Audio Editor (prof. in Pro Tools, Reaper, and NCH Suite – Wavepad & Mixpad).

Justin is featured across various media such as television, radio, video games, audio dramas, and animation – from the comedic, eccentric, and daringly tenacious of characters to offering the warm comfort and embrace through narration.

Justin has performed in various big-budget SAG-AFTRA productions with Pixar Animation Studios, McDonald’s, Sony Pictures Entertainment, HBO, along with Lucasfilm, and student films produced by future filmmakers pursuing careers in 3D animation and live action at the Ringling College of Art & Design and filmography at Columbia College Hollywood and the Mike Curb College of Arts, Media, and Communication from California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

He exemplifies athletic ability actively in tennis, swimming, mixed martial arts, and various disciplines to sharpen his physical abilities and formulate choreography and blocking on and off sets. He has offered his voice for organizations such as Moonton Interactive, FireFly Studios, inXile Entertainment, Johnny Carino’s Italian Restaurants, Elokence, Nimble Neuron, AMAX Interactive, Orange Theory Fitness and institutions such as USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, The Ringling College of Art & Design, and California State University, Northridge (CSUN) for e-learning tutorials, phone recordings, promotional advertising, company product presentations, ADR, motion capture, and character portrayals for various live action films, video games and animated productions.

Justin’s earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance (Option: Financial Analysis) in 2017 at California State University, Northridge, enabling him to effectively communicate with clients to interpret and provide a variety of energetic, charismatic, and passionate performances – breathing life from the page to the silver screen. Although eager and ambitious, Justin always seeks to learn from other professional talent and often inspires his colleagues in the same manner.
