JoyStage LA Productions, LLC in Los Angeles, CA is her recently started production company where, in addition to producing, directing, and acting, Joy consults on business and legal affairs matters for creative professionals. Her interests are in spiritually-related stories, and stories which depict everyday, honest and positive experiences of black people in America.
Current projects include a narrative series that peeks into the private lives of women who hold high positions in religious organizations, and a film about a magical night shared by four attractive and upwardly mobile urban professionals. In addition to production work, Joy serves as a coach and Grief Recovery Specialist. Drawing from her own personal experiences and life lessons she endeavors to foster universal understanding, help others find healing in truth, and encourage people to develop new, harmonious ways to connect with one another and life.
