Jim began performing 25 years ago in community theatre in the San Francisco Bay Area at Palo Alto Players where he was cast on his very first audition ever. He sang in the chorus for “Pirates of Penzance” and “My Fair Lady” at Woodminster Amphitheatre cast 8 days after his first voice lesson. Just 18 moths after his first play, he received the Best Actor Award for his lead role as Charlie Baker in “The Foreigner” at the Hayward Little Theatre, Hayward, CA.
Jim is also active in TV commercials: DirecTV, EVITE, Cal Football, California Earthquake Authority, Doctors on Duty, Spectrum Medical Group.
Feature film: Rubicon’s Broken, Dead Wrong, Follow Your Sunshine, Alma Lopez, Glass Heart, You Are My World and Beyond.

Voice over for radio and web commercials for companies such as FedEx, GapKids, EVITE, Tre`App; and a documentary for National Geographic TV. Foreign accents (8), US dialexts (3) and celebrity impersonations.
Jim has done roles as a compassionate family doctor, patient, tough-minded corporate executive, politician, detective, chief of police, sports reporter, maniacal murderer, mystery show host, inspiring professor, arrogant/impatient customer service rep, husband, grieving father, joyful grandfather, mentor, dealmaker henchman and victim janitor.
