Jake Newberry

Jake’s background consists of many areas of the arts including acting, dancing, music, and filmmaking. He has tap danced since the age of four. Jake has held lead roles in live musical productions, including Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, and Joe in Sugar, based on the classic film Some Like it Hot. For five years he lead a teen Classic rock cover band playing the keyboard, guitar, and singing for live audiences. After studying Film and Broadcast, he moved from Chicago to Los Angeles where he auditions for film, tv, and commercials, and writes pilots and feature screenplays. He loves writing period dramas, horror, and adventure. You may have seen him as tap dancing Pope Benedict in Conan’s final season on tbs.
