Ester Elliott

Personal Bio

Ester Elliott writes screenplays and short stories which incorporate her unique life experiences.

She grew up in an ethnically diverse region in ex-Yugoslavia where the Communist Party provided  in-depth education at all levels, with focus on science, languages and technology. It was the ‘norm’ to accept the party’s ideology yet find ways to live freely.

She moved to the US in the 80s and learned another meaning of freedom.

She is also fluent in Hungarian, Serbian and Croatian.
