Deirdre’ Dix Hunt is an award winning, Emmy© nominated producer, director and president of Edge Of A Dream Company. As executive consultant, she is creating and implementing strategy, branding and partnership opportunities for her impressive client roster, which includes corporations, celebrities. and non-profit organizations. Whether she is developing new brands, or refreshing existing brands or creating social media strategies for her client’s in today’s competitive global market, at the core, she brings an inspired style of work and creativity. She has produced and supplied programming to ABC, Discovery, Fox, NBC, BET and CBS. Currently working as executive consultant for Sony Pictures Entertainment in the Diversity and Inclusion Division, sh is working with the Chief Diversity Officer on creating new pipelines for inclusion.  Additionally, she is over-hauling the brand of  Bridal Fantasy in Edmonton Alberta Canada, collaborating  its CEO to refresh and elevate their bridal brand to grow strategic partnerships with brands focused on engagement and connecting with their consumers through content and product. She and her team continue to create entertaining projects that motivate, educate and inspire.

For two consecutive terms Dix Hunt served as Vice President of Strategic Planning on the executive board of Women In Film. An active Director member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), the Producers Guild of America (PGA) she has served as the co-chair of both the African-American Steering Committee and the Women’s Steering Committee of the DGA. A member of the National Association of Minorities In Cable (NAMIC), she is a producer/directing mentor for aspiring TV directors and producers She is a former board member of UNCF, Producers Caucus and continues to be highly active in both organizations.

Dix Hunt is an honors graduate of Howard University’s School Of Communications and has certifications from UCLA, and Harvard Women’s Leadership Program.
