Personal Bio

Dawn Fields has over twenty years of experience working as a producer, writer, director, assistant director and editor and has a background in acquisitions, development, crowdfunding (over $200K raised) and film finance. She has worked in production for such companies as LucasFilm, Mark Johnson (Gran Via Productions), Barrie M. Osbourne (Lord of The Rings, Matrix), Twentieth Century Fox, Tri-Star, ABC, NBC Universal, Aaron Spelling Productions and Morgan Creek and more.

She is currently in pre-production on her feature film debut, the horror/suspense feature film 13 Blackbird Lane and the thriller Last Bite. She is also in development on the holiday horror/fantasy Zombie Elves and the sci-fi/horror Snakebit.  Her short film Fragile Storm, starring Lance Henriksen, has played in 30 festivals which garnered 35 nominations and 27 wins including the prestigious $10,000 ‘Rising Star’ award at the 2017 Cinegear Expo Film Competition and has received over a quarter million views online. Fragile Storm is also part of The Edge of Her Mind, a powerful anthology film that shines a compassionate light on women’s mental health. ‘Edge’ is the first in the HerMovies.com series of anthologies made by women, about women.

She also speaks on filmmaking panels and teaches online production courses, webinars and seminars on pitching.
