Personal Bio

While growing up, was exposed to a good deal of music including folk,bluegrass (we went square dancing from time to time), and particularly classical. My mother was a piano teacher and while, regrettably, I never learned to play the piano, I did learned much of the various styles of classical music she played.

Sang in choirs in high school and college, and joined a community choir in San Francisco for a time.

Been composing music for the last 15 years or more. I’ve more recently gone into songwriting.
