Chloë Bellande is a Writer, Director and Editor born in Montreal, Canada. She has a BA in Arts and Modern Languages from Concordia University. Her body of work includes self-financed features and shorts; mostly crime dramas and thrillers. She has published over 60 articles in the Montreal Times weekly paper, on entertainment and arts topics. Her film festival acclaimed movies While The Village Sleeps, Will Of Fortune, and, Searching For Paradise have won several awards and nominations for their screenplay and their original movie trailer. In 2016, she won the Latin Canada Award for Best Director/Producer for her sustained achievements in the entertainment industry. In 2018, Chloe published the story of how she embraced failure and achieved transformational success in “Invincible”, a collaborative book published by Elite Publishing – based in Miami. Her chapter tells the inspirational story of how she went from being rejected by the film program in her Alma-matter in Montreal, Canada, to obtaining a US permanent residency based on Extraordinary Abilities in Motion Pictures and TV. Chloe now resides in North Hollywood, California, where she works as an editor and pursues her passion projects as a screenwriter.
