Personal Bio

In 2001 Carmen began her professional TV career as head of production in La Esfera, until 2005. Carmen actively collaborated in the production of documentaries, commercials and short films shot in Gran Canaria, Spain. In 2006 Carmen moved to Madrid with her inseparable Chihuahua Anakin Skywalker, where she starred on Television Española, Telecinco, Cuatro, Telemadrid, Canal Sur or A3 Media talking about pets as a lifestyle.

Carmen’s popularity went national in Spain after she organized the first dog wedding and dog catwalk and promoted the premiere of “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” in Madrid. By 2011 Carmen is specializing pet themed programs, being the on camera host and executive producer of “Operacion Mascota” and “Travelling Pets”. Since 2012 Carmen has also been responsible for the Gran Canaria Film Commission, working on the filming of “Fast and Furious 6”, “Wild Oats”, “El Niño”, “Rec 4” … and big TV series like “Woody” and “Primeval”, for the BBC.

Currently Carmen Diaz lives in Beverly Hills California, where she with her beloved Anakin Skywalker and rescue dog Darth Vader. She was the director of the Gran Canaria Film Commission  until july 2018. She left to pursue her passion and mission in life: to be the voice if those who cannot speak for themselves so now she is preparing new TV pet show starring Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker plus their brand new Beverly Hills doggie friends!

Carmen is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
